Interdisciplinary Articulation: The Structure of Social Science History's 'Invisible College' in Sociology, Political Science, and History.

Social Science History is a venerable interdisciplinary node, linking history with disciplines as disparate as political science, sociology, economics, anthropology and law. In this article, using bibliometric and acknowledgment data from samples of award-winning work within each discipline and SSHA, we compare the structures of disciplinary and interdisciplinary contact through networks of canonical citation and acknowledgment.
