Roundtable Discussion: Teaching with Interdisciplinary Research Published in Social Science History

This will be a Roundtable Discussion featuring opening presentations by 5 active members of the Association who also have editorial board experience with Social Science History and/or other disciplinary journals in their respective fields. We hope to spark interest in using research published in SSH in a teaching context. We appreciate the journal's unique strength as a home for interdisciplinary projects, as well as projects from across multiple disciplines. However, we also recognize the challenges posed by its broad reach for our work as teachers which is often more narrowly situated in our respective home disciplines. We hope to foster ideas and share best practices for expanding the reach of our interdisciplinary research interests in the pedagogical roles we play outside of this association. Audience participation in the discussion will be enthusiastically welcome.
